HELP provides an annual indemnity of up to £1,000,000 against the costs of a company defending itself at an employment tribunal, or on Health and Safety charges. The insurance will pay out for tribunal awards, which this year are averaging £9,000, as well as all the associated costs. HELP also covers costs in the event of an Inland Revenue or Customs & Excise investigation.

What is really unique about the programme is that the insurance cover is effective immediately. Even if you go to DAS direct, you will have to wait 3 months before the insurance becomes effective, pay about twice as much in premiums, and put in a lot of effort implementing policies and procedures (which we do for our clients) before acceptance.
